The General History Project, Inc. Checklist:

1. Incorporate The General History Project (check!).
2. Raise money to buy plane ticket and recording equipment to begin inaugural project with The General (check!).
3. Apply and be approved 501(c)(3) tax exempt status from the IRS (check!).
4. Research and receive guidance from mentors (ongoing).
5. Go to Kenya, conduct and record extended series of interviews with The General and related people (check!).
6. Transcribe the Sessions with the General (check- all 1,148 pages!)
7. Create video promo for the project using footage collected while in Kenya (check!)

Disclaimer: the next series of tasks are not necessarily in order…

1. Develop a business plan to fund and select future stories
2. Seek funding to continue the work and look for related grants.
3. Write the General’s biography
4. Find the best place for archiving the material and making it available to the public, both in the US and abroad.
5. Continue to update blog and website, including posting some of the audio and video footage with The General.
